Locked to Ron
Remus sat at his desk, tapping a quill against his desk as he tried to concentrate on grading papers. It was not working one bit.

Ron hadn't returned after he'd gotten the letters from Percy. He'd returned quite late the day after that. It was fast approaching midnight and, for the third night in a row, Ron was late again.

He didn't know why he was worried. He had no logical reason to be. He didn't think Ron would be making an excursion to Hogsmeade, not this late and certainly not after he'd been yelled at once before. If he was unhappy staying in the office, he would have sensed that.

He's a teenage boy, Remus. He's out having fun rather than sitting around with a dopey old professor. Stop worrying.

He continued attempting to correct the third years' mini-essays on how Stupefy affected the body. He was not going to go to sleep until Ron showed up, dammit.

Locked to Ron
He hadn't seen either of the Weasley children all day, and he had long resigned himself to inviting Ginny to tea some other time. His schedule thus entirely clear, he'd decided to partake in a hobby he hadn't been able to indulge in since almost the beginning of the school year.

He settled on the sofa, arranged himself comfortably and engrossed himself ...

In a nap.

Locked to Ron
Remus sat on the sofa in his office, staring into the fireplace. Harry had gone off somewhere else and he was left with his own thoughts. He thought about sending Terence some of the homework that needed to be graded, but it was the weekend and he could probably get it done himself. He thought about going down to the Great Hall for dinner, then decided he didn't really want to bother. So he sat, staring into space and thinking of nothing in particular.

Locked to Harry
Lupin had begun pacing near the fireplace in his office, dressed in one of his warmer work robes. It had been awhile since he'd been to Godric's Hollow - the last time had been after Harry's third year, after he'd learned what had really happened that night. He wondered how Harry would react to seeing where his parents' house used to be, and where they were buried now.

Busy Lupin - office time locked to Ron, Snape thread posted later
Snape was apparently in need of a hobby if he was starting to play pranks on his colleagues. While it reassured Remus that perhaps the man did, in fact, have some tiny sense of humor locked away somewhere, he couldn't just let it go unnoticed.

Luckily, Snape had kept the door to his office open just enough to get a good aim with his wand. Pleased with himself, and wondering just what Snape's students would think when he walked in to class with neon orange hair, he returned to his own classroom for his lecture to the fourth years.

After coughing and sputtering his way through the first fifteen minutes and enduring a classroom full of students attempting - and failing - to hide their giggles at the white feathers floating to the floor, he'd let them out early and returned to his office.

He settled himself at his desk again, grading the unfinished scrolls. Eventually he gave up and placed a bucket next to his desk, working and occasionally coughing violently into it. He'd amassed an impressive collection of feathers after an hour or so, and Blue was having a grand time batting at them as they floated to the ground.

He only hoped it would wear off soon.

Locked to Ron
Lupin had spent the bulk of the day sleeping, and it had helped him rejuvinate considerably. He'd spent nearly an hour soaking in the tub, and his joints were no longer protesting his every move. He'd noticed a few of his papers missing - Terence must have dropped by and stolen a few. He'd have to thank him later. He'd also had a surprisingly nice conversation with Draco.

All in all, it had been a nice day, all things considered. He sat on one end of the sofa, Blue curled up in his lap, reading spectacles perched on the end of his nose as he browsed through an old muggle novel.

8:56 pm
Remus sat at his desk, browsing through a few old texts without really internalizing what any of them said. He needed the Wolfsbane soon, or he was going to have to escape out to the shack. He wondered what was taking Severus so long, but knew better than to go pester him if he was busy.

Ten more minutes, he decided, then he'd write a note to Ron and leave.

Locked to Ron
He awoke shortly after sunrise, one muscle in his back twitching just enough to keep him from going back to sleep. There was something heavy on top of him and something uncomfortable below him.

God, he hated mornings.

He cracked one eye open just enough to take in the surroundings. Asleep on the sofa, of all things, with Ron sprawled half on top of him. I'm too old for this. He groaned and tried shifting, found it was impossible with Ron dead asleep like that. He jarred sleepily at his shoulder.

"Mmph. Get up. Classes."

Daily Lock to Ron Weasley
Remus sat on the sofa in his office, reading through lesson plans and trying to organize them so classes would be easy for Terence to teach once transformation took him over this month. He was nearly finished when he felt a slight pressure on his shoulder. Blue had apparently decided that his neck was the best place snuggle up to for a catnap. "Aren't mad at me then, are you?" Scratching at her fur absently, he tried to pay attention to his work, but found himself dozing off, head resting against the sofa and Blue purring in her sleep.

Lupin didn't bother with an owl. Staff talked to one another on a regular basis, and even if most of them didn't bother with Snape, Lupin did at least once a month.

Reigning in his temper, face a mask of calm, he knocked sharply at Snape's office door.
